Hi. I've googled this issue but didn't find a solution. The sound of my notebook works fine if I use the built in speakers or the built in audio jack. Even if the notebook is connected to the docking station the sound comes out of the internal speakers or through the built in audio jack.

Now I have some external speakers. I connected them to the audio jack of the docking station but there is no sound. I found out that Windows does not recognize any other audio outputs then the built in speaker/headphones.

I uninstalled the Realtek driver reinstalled it, used an older version....But nothing helps. No additional audio output appears and no sound on the external speakers.

Would be great if someone has a solution for this.

hello

I heard about microphone issue when connected to Docking , nothing about external speakers.

About external speaker , one guy wrote , in another post, that he removed and reinstalled the audio driver while his computer was in the dockign and thal solved ,but was a 8560p, not a Zbook G2.

bye

Thanks. I already tried this. Uninstalled audio driver and installed it with notebook and external speakers connected to the docking station. But this changed nothing.
