The first 3 to 4 seconds of audio is missing at the start of any audio/video when using display output audio (TV on HDMI).This happens on playing local audio/video files and online such as YouTube (video starts but no sound until 3 to 5 seconds into video). Windows and bios are up to date. My last hp laptop did not do this on the same screen. I purchased this system to use as a multimedia device on my TV I really need to resolve this issue.

Hi @Steve690

Welcome to the HP Support Community. Thanks for bringing this to our notice.

I see that you are facing audio/video missing-related issues on your system. Do not worry, we are here to fix it.

May I know from when are you facing this issue?

Did you make any hardware or software-related changes to it?

I would suggest you please use the link below and update all the drivers. Once done, let me know the outcome of it: https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers
