My audio of my Elitebook 840 G9 is not working but only when it is connected to the USB C G5 docking station. Without docking station it is working perfectly. What I see when I'm looking at the services is that the Windows Audio service is stopped when my laptop is connected to the docking station. When I restart the service, it will automatically stop again.
When I'm looking at youtube, I don't hear any sound, but now and than it gives some noise (probably after the automatic restart of the Windows Audio service).

HP has few different USB C G5 docking stations, which one is yours. Please download and install new firmware AND Audio driver from the following link
