HP ProBook 450 G5
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I have just bought an HP ProBook 450 G5, everything is fine except for Audio... everytime my PC go to sleep mode, Audio does not work after.. i have to restart the OS. I have fully updated via microsoft. tried to get the latest Driver, updated the Bios, tried HP support and test application and even MS troubleshooter with no luck.

Opening chrome on youtube ends up with black video and "Audio render error. please restart your computer". MS edge only display black screen. renoved the hardware from Device manager and add it again, still same issue... anyone having the same issue? shall i get in touch with HP as it still under warranty or it's software based error?

Thanks,

@Zahi_k

Please do a clean install Audio softeware/driver, this should help.

(a) Download the following driver and save on your computer,

       https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp92501-93000/sp92797.exe

(b) Go to Device Manager, Sound to uninstall sound driver and reboot,
(c) Right click downloaded file and select Run as administrator,
(d) Reboot again.

Regards.

Hi,

i tired the same method an i ended up with the same probelm. however, it is good to mention that once PC restart, even after uninstalling the hardware, the Sound card get detected automaticaly; hence , i ended up adding the driver manualy with no luck even.
