Hi everyone I'm having issues with my audio, I tried to upload drivers and fix the "other devices" section, because I had some drivers pending to updated, so I did it,

I thought with that I'll be able to use my audio system, but I'm still having my problem, so I did a research with copilot, I'm following the next web Fix Intel Smart Sound Technology (SST) Driver Conflicts on Windows 11
I already installed the Intel(R) Corporation – MEDIA because in my system device I can't see the Intel(R) Smart Sound Technology (Intel(R) SST) Audio Controller

So, the next step according to copilot it's install the Intel SST OED (sp111938.exe). But I didn't find it, could anyone help me with the link or with my problem?

@VladiMagdma, Welcome to the HP Support Community – it’s great to have you here!

I appreciate you taking the time to share your question. I'm more than happy to assist with this and provide a solution that works for you.

Based on your screenshots and description, it looks like your Intel Smart Sound Technology (SST) Audio Controller is missing, and there are several devices under Other devices with missing drivers. Here's how to fix it:

Uninstall Conflicting Drivers

  • Open Device Manager.
  • Expand System Devices and Other devices.
  • Right-click any of the following (if present) and choose Uninstall device:
    • Intel Smart Sound Technology Audio Controller
    • Intel SST OED
    • PCI Device, PCI Simple Communications Controller, SM Bus Controller
  • Check "Delete the driver software for this device" if prompted.
  • Restart your PC.

Reboot Your PC

  • After uninstalling, restart your laptop.
  • Windows will attempt to reinstall the correct drivers automatically.

Install Intel SST OED Driver

Install Chipset & Management Engine Drivers

  • Go to your product’s driver page: Official HP® Support
  • Download and install:
    • Intel Chipset Installation Utility
    • Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI)
    • Intel Serial IO Driver

Reboot and Verify

  • After installation, restart your PC.
  • Go to Device Manager > Sound, video and game controllers.
  • You should now see Intel Smart Sound Technology Audio Controller and Realtek Audio (or similar).
  • Also check Settings > System > Sound to ensure the correct output device is selected.

I hope your issue is now resolved. If not, feel free to reply and we’ll continue helping until everything’s sorted!
