Product number : LM199UA

The audio stopped working around 8-9 years ago, I remember it froze on YouTube and I quickly restarted my laptop. Once it started back on a message popped up and said the audio wasn’t working, even if you plugged in headphones it still wouldn’t work. I couldn’t fix the issue, I’d love to get my computer fixed as it was a Christmas gift and I’ve had it since 2010 or 2011. Had no issues with it until the audio stopped working, Also the screen is damaged and definitely needs to be replaced. But is it worth to get fixed? I took it to a computer place and they said it wasn’t worth to get fixed, the price to getting it fixed it the price of buying it brand new is what the “Computer” repair guy said.

9-10 years is a long time to get out of a laptop, At that age, I'd recommend just getting a new PC. I just upgraded from a 2011 model laptop to a 2020 model laptop, even though there wasn't anything specifically wrong with the old. The improvements of a modern CPU, SSD, and Faster RAM have made such a big impact on my workflow and productivity that it was completely worth it.

Yeah that is true, the computer does have some sentimental value since my grandma got it for me as a Christmas gift. The laptop itself actually stopped working about 8-9 years ago, since it first started as an audio issue then resulted to the screen needing to be replaced. I do have an Asus laptop but it isn’t as good as this one
