My laptops audio quality is bad not clear to low and sometimes it cracks.

what do i do?

Please download and perform a CLEAN install the following Realtek software

 

      https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp97001-97500/sp97080.exe

How do i perform a perform a CLEAN install

Very interesting, HP may remove it. Please try an older software
