The Audio Control Panel from Bang & Olufsen is not working for some reason. This was before I updated to Windows 11. Can anyone please provide a solution to this? I use a ZBook 15u G5.

Hello Brownia,

Thank you for posting your concern,

Troubleshooting Bang & Olufsen Audio Control Panel Issues on HP ZBook 15u G5

If the Bang & Olufsen Audio Control Panel is not working on your HP ZBook 15u G5 Mobile Workstation, here are some steps you can take to address the issue:

  1. Check for Updates:

    • Ensure that your system is fully updated via Windows Update. Sometimes, software patches or driver updates can resolve issues with audio panels.
  2. Update Audio Drivers:

    • Visit the HP Support website to download and install the latest audio drivers for your device.
    • Also, consider updating the Bang & Olufsen software, if available.
  3. Reinstall Audio Drivers:

    • Go to "Device Manager" > "Sound, video and game controllers."
    • Right-click on your audio device and select "Uninstall device."
    • Restart your computer, and Windows should reinstall the audio drivers.
  4. Verify Audio Service is Running:

    • Open "Services" by searching in the Start menu.
    • Locate and ensure "Windows Audio" and "Windows Audio Endpoint Builder" services are running. If not, right-click and select "Start."
  5. Check for Software Conflicts:

    • Ensure no other audio software is conflicting with the Bang & Olufsen panel. Disable any third-party audio enhancement tools.
  6. Reinstall Bang & Olufsen Audio Control Panel:

    • If possible, reinstall the software from the HP website or the Microsoft Store.
  7. Restore Default Settings:

    • Access any Bang & Olufsen settings through other audio settings areas and restore defaults where possible.

If none of these solutions resolve the issue, it might help to reach out to HP Support for more detailed assistance or to check if there is a known compatibility issue with the software after updating to Windows 11.
