Hello, I've been having issues with the headphone jack ever since I got my Pavilion but I thought it was just a problem with a headset before, now I know it has something to do with my computer. I had a USB headset (Not the headset previously mentioned) that worked fine but when I launched a game once, the headset stopped working and I reinstalled all my audio drivers but it basically broke Razer Synapse so while I'm getting a replacement headset, I'm using my earbuds in the 3.5mm headphone jack. The issue is that when I plug my earbuds in, there's this fuzzy noise in the background. I thought it was dust or something in the port, but nope- It's clear. This sound is so annoying but I had no idea what was causing it. Everytime I plug the earbuds in, this sound is automatically played but it stops after awhile. When I click on some media with audio, it takes a second for it to play while the video already started and then the fuzz noise is still there while the actual audio is playing. It is extremely obnoxious. I ended up opening B&O Play Audio Control to see if it could do anything and I swear it only worked on my speakers outside of the earbuds before and I think it is what is breaking Razer Synapse, But- when I mute the earbuds, it mutes the fuzz noise. Which means it's a problem with the computer and not my earbuds or the headphone jack.
Let's Review to make it easy to answer:
My earbuds have a fuzzy-noise in the background for a little while and then it stops until I play some sort of media. It's delayed for about 2 seconds after I hit play and the fuzz noise comes back and plays in the background. It mutes when I turn down the volume and it comes back when I need the volume on. I've installed Windows HD Audio driver and it is almost fixed when I use the Performance Tune-Up to fix corrupted files but the left earbud's audio then is messed up and I must restart the whole process and the fuzz comes back. I appreciate any help I can get.

I don't know what is your Pavilion 17t but please do a clean install Audio softeware/driver, this should help.
(a) Download the following driver and save on your computer,
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp93001-93500/sp93151.exe
(b) Go to Device Manager, Sound to uninstall sound driver and reboot,
(c) Right click downloaded file and select Run as administrator,
(d) Reboot again.
Otherwise, post back what is your Pavilion 17t.
Regards.

It still didn't work. I find the noise to get louder the louder I turn the volume up. Also when no audio is playing and I try to turn up the volume, the sound doesn't play until two seconds after I continuously move the slider- if that can help diagnose the problem.

Now, I have few versions for Realtek High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver:
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp92001-92500/sp92073.exe
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp92501-93000/sp92780.exe
and the original one for Windows 10 from your machine home page:
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp78501-79000/sp78936.exe
You have to try
Regards.
