I purchased this laptop recently and it came preinstalled with B&o (Bang & Olufsen) equalizer...
2 days back I recived a notification for upgrading to windows 10..
After doing the same I was adviced by HP support assistant to update the audio drivers( RealtekHD last updated .
After installing it I was asked to restart the computer...
After the restart B&o equalizer is missing from both the system tray as well as controlpanel...
There are no issues with sound output as such...
I have checked the HP website for the B&o software under my product... But couldn't find it..
Kindly guide the method to get B&o Equaliser installed...
Thanking you

Hi,
Try downloading and reinstalling the Realtek drivers for your PC:
Hope it helps,

Had the same proble with my 17" Envy laptop - B&O gone after last Windows 10 update. Tried HP support but they were exceedingly difficult to understand and couldn't grasp the problem. Like you I never lost sound - just the upgraded sound that B&O provides. HP support insisted that I reset my laptop to factory install but this is a work computer and has several licensed packages on it as well as MS Office Pro 2016 and a month of work files. It would take me forever to reinstall everything (software and data) on a wholesale basis like this. More over, doing so would accomplish nothing since the the first time I started the reset computer it would run a series windows updates and I'd be right back to where I am now.
HP support isn't trained to troubleshoot problems. When they don't understand a problem or know how to resolve it their solution is to reset the computer back to the factory settings and lose everything you had on it. They can't seem to grasp the simple solution of reinstalling a basic component of the initial factory install.
