HP Spectre x360
Microsoft Windows 11

This has ben an ongoing problem on my laptop ever since I upgraded to Windows 11.  I've contacted HP numerous times but they seem to want me to check everything under the sun so that they don't have to take responsibility for it.

The only solution that I've found it to try to use the speakers. If they work - great!

If they don't - indicated by sound that just vibrates the speakers but not clear enough to understand, I then have to do the following. Go into Device Manager and remove (or to use the US corruption of the English language, uninstall) any real Tek sound drivers. Close down windows. Start the computer again. It then installs the missing drivers. Then I go back to what I wanted to listen to to find out if it now works. Maybe yes, maybe no.  If the answer is no, then I just look up what I want to listen to on my phone.

What a good solution is that HP!
