For the SECOND time now, after doing a Windows update, BeatsAudio has just disappeared from my laptop. This is so annoying!

How do I get BeatsAudio back?

Hi:

The only suggestion I can offer, would be to try this W10 IDT beats audio driver from a newer model notebook.

Restart the PC after installing the driver.

Sometimes this driver will set the PC's headphone jack as the default audio output, so if you have no sound after installing the driver, go to the windows control panel>hardware and sound>sound>manage audio devices and make sure the PC's speakers are set as the default output device.

Hi, and thanks so much for your response.

I tried to reinstall the driver as per the link you sent me, and was informed that I already has this installed on my laptop. I did not continue with the installation.

I then went on with the next step you suggested, but cannot find a "hardware and sound" option on my control panel. I did click on "sound," but that does not have any option or tab that allows me to manage audio devices.

You're very welcome.

You may want to try uninstalling and reinstalling the audio driver using the file I posted.

See if this video is of help to you for how to manage audio device outputs.
