HP Recommended

We've just installed an HP ProDesk 400 G2 mini computer to replace another HP desktop, on Windows 10 Pro.  We are not getting any sound through our Bose external speakers, plugged into the front combo jack.  The jack fits, and the speakers were working on the old PC.  Any tips on how to resolve this?
