I get a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) with the error message "System Service Exception" every time I open settings related to sound or the microphone. I believe the problem is caused by a faulty or improperly installed audio driver. Please help me resolve this issue.

Hi, i solved this problem for my hp 755 g5 windows 11
Go to windows "device manager" and find category "audio video game devices"
(i am sorry for not full exactly titles because i have localization windows)
Then find "conexant hd audio" device and double click on it
Go to tab "driver" click "update driver"
Next click bottom choice "find on my computer", then click bottom choice "Select on my computer" and there choice item "High Definition Audio device"
Then click Next, confirm "Continue install driver" and after install the driver - reboot your box.
As result in device manager will be new audio device "High Definition Audio device" instead "Conexant hd"
