HP EliteBook 830 G6

Hello,

I need some help. So, I had recently done a complete fresh install of Windows on my laptop, and everything was fine, the drivers and everything installed fine, along with the B&O App. When I went to the HP Website to check for newer drivers, I found a newer one for Realtek. I installed it. At first, it was fine, but, for whatever reason, the B&O app effects would get undone automatically after a while of usage, nothing fixed it, even setting it to never go to sleep. I tried rolling back the driver as well (selected 'Update Driver' and installed the previous update). But the same issue persisted. Finally, I was fed up, and uninstalled the B&O app altogether thinking it'll get reinstalled once I reinstalled my audio driver (the latest one). Unfortunately, it didn't. Though the sound now is fine,  I'm missing the tuning that was available before, through the app. What can I do besides reinstalling Windows all over again?

I managed to fix it by reinstalling Bang & Olufsen from the Microsoft store.

EDIT: This DID NOT fix the issue. It had only been fixed until a restart. After which, the problem returned and reinstalling the app did nothing. This is the worst app integration I have ever seen. It has no persistence.

The audio right now sounds fine and is somewhat loud, but again, no EQ is available anymore. The only way to fix this is most probably to do a complete fresh reinstall of Windows. Which is a shame. Shame on HP.
