Thank you for joining HP Forums.

I'll be glad to help you,

As I understand the Bang & Olufsen Audio Control Panel isn't enabled when using earphones,

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

Did you attempt to reinstall or update the software?

If you haven't, please remove the software and try downloading and reinstalling the Realtek HD Audio software package on the following link - this should also reinstall the B&o guide:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp80501-81000/sp80538.exe

When the re-installation has completed,

restart the notebook.

Keep me posted,

If the information I've provided was helpful,

give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons,

that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Good Luck.

Thanks mate, though I have tried it, wasn't able to enable. I even tried to uninstalling and reinstall, doesn't work. Since it wasn't working, I tried to install IDT driver, which said Object not present., so thinking it doesn't support.

I removed Realtek driver and replaced it with High Definition Audio Device, where I was at least able to have Bass Boost. I think I will just have to use this driver instead.

Actually, for some reason I was able to use Bang & Olusen's equalizer when I reinstalled the driver back to Realtek. Thanks for the help. I shouldn't have opened a thread, my bad.
