Hi - really hope someone can help!
I recently did some updates that were advised on Hp Support Assistant - I think it was an audio driver but can't remember which one. Since I updated, it has removed the B&O audio option from the speakers. I have tried to restore and followed the instructions given on the help section but nothing seems to work.
I've read some other articles in the community and followed the instructions given but that hasn't worked either.
Could someone please help me? Happy to give you the info you need to help me resolve! 🙂

Welcome to HP Community
Please reinstall the Audio driver from Device Manager
- Select the Start button, type Device Manager, and select it from the list of results.
- Look for Audio Input&Output and expand the List
- Look for Audio driver then right-click it, and select Update Driver.
- Select Search automatically for updated driver software.
- If Windows doesn't find a new driver, you can try looking for one from HP Website: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers and follow the instructions.
- If these steps don't work, try reinstalling the driver: Open Device Manager, right-click the Audio driver and select Uninstall. Restart your PC and Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.
Also update the BIOS
Keep me posted how it goes 😊

Thanks for your reply.
I did the steps you outlined and it said I had the most updated driver. Nevertheless, I went to the HP website and installed the lastest one on the list: Realtek High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver (Windows 10 v1809).
That still hasn't resolved the issue though as Bang and Olufsen still doesn't come up anywhere.

Hi again - thank you so much for helping. I managed to do the system reset and the B&O option for the speakers has reappeared.
Annoyingly I have to download all the apps, setup etc that I had but that’s a small inconvenience for the fact it’s now sorted.
Thanks again!
