Sorry to hear that you are having problems ... and I would like to help you.
(1) Try to roll back your realtek audio driver
This guide repairs a graphics driver:

=> You will of course need to do this to fix your realtek audio device <=
(2) If (1) fails
- Open windows <device manager> and right click uninstall your realtek audio device. Confirm if required
- Install ( HP ) audio driver

(3) Reboot and test again ...
(4) Please report your results
