Hi,
Windows 10 updates last month or in June 2017 caused few problems with Audio on laptops. Please try
- uninstall Sound driver from Device Manager,
- reboot machine when on internet,
- wait to 10 minuntes or so,
- check Device Manager to see, also check sound.
If still having problem please try
- download the following software and save on your computer, http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp80001-80500/sp80436.exe
- uninstall Sound driver from Device Manager,
- reboot machine,
- install the downloaded file.
Regards.

Hi,
My previous reply has 2 parts, please only use option 2 if option 1 did not work.
Option 1 says wait for 10mins or so when on internet. During this time, system should download driver for you automatically, no need to manually download.
Regards.
