Hi,

Windows 10 updates last month or in June 2017 caused few problems with Audio on laptops. Please try

  1. uninstall Sound driver from Device Manager,
  2. reboot machine when on internet,
  3. wait to 10 minuntes or so,
  4. check Device Manager to see, also check sound.

If still having problem please try

  1. download the following software and save on your computer,       http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp80001-80500/sp80436.exe
  2. uninstall Sound driver from Device Manager,
  3. reboot machine,
  4. install the downloaded file.

Regards.

Hi Banhien, I do appreaciate your feedback.

for solution number 1, you mention I unsintall sound driver from device manager, afterward, when should I reinstall it again? should I download the driver again?

thank you in advance

Hi,

My previous reply has 2 parts, please only use option 2 if option 1 did not work.

Option 1 says wait for 10mins or so when on internet. During this time, system should download driver for you automatically, no need to manually download.

Regards.
