Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

Thank you for taking time to respond to my rather negative comment.
I am (unfortunately) quite disappointed with the quality of this computer. After reading dozens of positive reviews prior to purchase, I was VERY excited to receive it. I have never had an issue like this with any prior laptop, and have never voiced any negativity on a public forum. I considered deleting my comment, but since it does reflect my (brutally honest) opinion, I decided to keep it up.

Rest assured, I am not disappointed with the online service. You guys have done an exceptional job, given the circumstances. Perhaps I just received a dud in an otherwise fantastic line of laptops, as audio quality is far from the only thing wrong with this computer. It happens.

I look forward to discussing my options with someone.

I am having this same issue.... first, I noticed the laptop sounds were not loud enough compared to other laptops. I thought this was a software configuration issue until I noticed the bang & olufsen speaker on the front wasn't making any sounds whatsoever. this is very very disappointing from HP, being with the fact that I spent 2000 euros in purchasing this laptop. also, I noticed playing games slows down completely when you switch to tablet mode which is very annoying. now I know this is a very huge mistake purchasing a new HP high-end product. Please do something whatever it is to solve my issue

I contacted the HP support via chat and he updated my bios to F.40 apparently this resolved the issue.  maybe you could try that
