17-CB0090nr is my model... 9th gen with RTX 2080
Since the windows 11 upgrade I have no EQ whatsoever, the sound is absolutely terrible and I cannot find any kind of B&O app to reinstall. The driver package on the HP support page does nothing when you run as an administrator in win11, installs nothing. Windows store shows no B&O control app available. Just some useless "updates" program with lists of things that seems to not contain any kind of control or EQ software. This makes me SO mad, I have been screwing around for hours trying to fix this. WHY is it not common sense that HP would have the link for the updated B&O software on the page, regardless of this actual model supporting Win 11... There should be an easy link to find but it's NOWHERE! Making me regret my HP purchase in a serious way.

Hi @Optimatical,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding issues with the Bang & Olufsen app after upgrading to Windows 11!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Check HP Support for Updates:
- Go to the HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads page.
- Enter your model number 17-CB0090nr and check if any updated audio drivers or software packages are available for your device specific to Windows 11.
Use HP Support Assistant:
- HP Support Assistant is a tool that can help check for and install updates for your system. Ensure you have the latest version.
- Open HP Support Assistant, go to My Dashboard, select Updates, and look for any audio-related updates.
Reinstall Audio Drivers:
- Open the Device Manager.
- Under Sound, video and game controllers, find your audio device, right-click, and select Update driver.
- Choose Search automatically for drivers or browse for drivers manually from the HP downloads.
Windows Update:
- Sometimes, updates delivered through Windows Update can solve compatibility issues. Search for and open Check for updates on your computer and install any pending updates.
Bang & Olufsen App:
- If no Bang & Olufsen app or EQ settings are available, support for these features might be provided directly within the audio driver package. Verify if any additional software utilities are offered with the driver package from HP.
I hope this helps.
