Product: HP Elitebook
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My team and I need to either remove/replace Bang & Olufsen bloatsoftware and drivers, or somehow only the toolbar / manager software. Any decent FOSS or commercial alternative sound drivers would be great.

 

The problem has been documented by another of others (here and elsewhere) but there was no support reply to prior threads, only "I have this problem too" so those threads are locked for inactivity. I wanted to try again in 2019.

 

The problem is that the big black "B&O" toolbar stays in the foreground and never leaves (except maybe randomly, temporarily, on occasion - only to soon return against your will and stay). I spent a couple hours on the phone with support for business, but they were just totally clueless on this.
