My laptop's speaker has a crackly, broken sound. Does that have to do with the Bang and Olufsen app? Every time I try to open the app it says 'Can't connect to RPC service'. What does that mean and how do I resolve the issue?

Thanks in advance for the help.

@BettinaJean Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you are getting an error that can't connect to the RPC service message.

Do not worry. I will try to fix the issue.

Please download and do a clean install (uninstall old Realtek from Sound, reboot and install new software) the following software

   https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp95501-96000/sp95914.exe
