Windows 10 was updated yesterday (April 12, 2017), and since the update, the Beats Audio Control Panel is no longer available anywhere on my Notebook and I cannot find the program for it at all. I even attempted to restart the Notebook thinking it might appear, but unfortunately, NOTHING!!!! What happened to it and how might I re-install it.

Hi,
The beats gui for your Model is provided by the audio software package, so try downloading and reinstalling the IDT software on the following link.
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp63501-64000/sp63555.exe
When the installation has completed, restart the notebook and let Windows fully load before checking.

Resolved problem
HP 14 Envy Spectre 14-3010NR purchased 10/18/2012 Windows 10 Home x64, updated from original Windows 7, then 8 and 8.1.
Immediately after installation of Windows 10 Creators Update 1703, explorer.exe was crashing and restarting about every 3 seconds. In addition, the Beats Audio red "b" light was off and the mute button and light were inoperative. The program "Classic Shell" (www.classicshell.net) was affected and was causing explorer.exe to crash. Also Control Panel would fail any time it was run. the Beats Audio App would fail if started, and the Beats audio program that runs on startup fails (looking at Windows Events)
Uninstalling Classic Shell allowed explorer.exe to function, but all the rest of the problems persisted.
Installing sp63555.exe (run as Admin) resolved all problems after a restart.
