There is no way to adjust your beats audio setting while using a HDMI source. This is most likely done to minimize cross signals since your receiver has an integrated eq of its own. When a HDMI source is plugged in, beats audio "steps aside" for your receiver. Unfortunately, I'm currently unaware if there is a way to circumvent this.

Ok so I bought a HP Envy 17 3000eg, the one with integrated 160 GB SSD, 750 GB Hard drive 8GB Ram and Beats Audio.
Well Beats Audio: I have a massive Problem and I need your help. Maybe you can run the same songs or the skype calling sound and tell me if your speakers make the same noise as mine. It looks like there are certain frequencies the speakers seem to burst! They tint, deform and distort... it really hurts in my ears and definitely does not sound normal.
It could be because of a bad example file quality, but it appears with the skype sound, some youtube videos, some high quality mp3s. It does NOT happen with my external speakers! They do not make any strange distorting tinting sound.... the notebook somewhat vibrates I think ..... it just sounds very poor quality like......
It is only 1 day old and I do not want to send it straight to service, so I hope it is just a regular problem everybody has!?
I made a 43 MB Video to show what I mean, Here it is: http://www.2shared.com/video/dR2afrfr/SAM_9208.html
Please guys, tell me what you think!? Do you experience the same problems!?
Or is it a Hardware problem and I really have to send it in!? And let the speakers change.......
I mean it really isnt just horrible sound its hurting.... i hope this is a hardware mistake.... what do you guys think!? Should i send it to tech service!?

First of, nice laptop, second, if your talking about that extreme crackling sound, i can tell you now, that's definitely not normal. If you did not change any setting on you laptop and it automatically came that way, then it could very well be a hardware problem. my only advice is to reformat your computer, and listen to varying songs. i say reformat it because it may be a software problem that refromatting will erase. if the sound does not improve after reformatting it, then it is a hardware problem and you should sent it in.

Thanks for your answer, i doubt it is a software problem, bacause when i plug in my external speakers it sounds very good. No crackling noise at all, only if i let the music come out from the notebook speakers alone!

The only reason i say it could be a software problem is because some speakers can play certain frequencies just fine that others may play distorted. The Hp laptop speakers arnt really top notch so they may distort when at a certain hz or db while others (like your external speakers) may not (this is why i asked if you changed your sound settings). but this usually only happens when listening to the extreme ends of the spectrum of what a speaker is meant to play. since your video shows that sounds, that play at a manageable frequency, still distorts the speaker, i have to agree with you that its a hardware problem unless another potential reason displays itself.
