Beats Audio also disappeared on my HP Envy 15-jo58ca after the Windows 10 Anniversary update a few years ago. The laptop came pre-loaded with Windows 10 when I bought it, but if I go to the HP Software & Driver Download page for this laptop, there isn't even an option to choose Windows 10 as my OS. If I click on "I don't see my operating system", the page that loads is empty. Nothing.

Any advice? Will the .exe file posted earlier work with mine? Or should I download the audio drivers for Windows 8.1?

I also had the same issue I was running windows 10 and after the new update my audio volume was all but non existent it was barely a whisper I tried the link  Paul_Tikkanen posted and I'm happy to say my audio is just perfect again,

All I can say is it's people like you that take their own personal time to help out those in need  that keps the internet going microsoft should pay you a yearly sallary.
