Hi, I am wanting to use bluetooth earbuds on my laptop, I bought some, but got them home, and now I can't get them to work, well, they work, but I can't get the laptop to pair up with them. It says it's unable to locate them. There is NO bluetooth button to turn on, like in some tutorials I've watched, I've tried downloading "device drivers" but that does nothing....I'm so frustrated and confused at this point. I want to chuck the ear buds across the room!! I hope some one can help me??? Do I need a bluetooth USB maybe? What am I missing? My laptop is an Hp Pavilion g7 Notebook, Windows vista which was upgraded to Windows 10.
Thanks!!

Hi, Okay, here's what happens when I try to "pair" my bluetooth earbuds, I go to settings~bluetooth/other devices, I click on "Add bluetooth and other devices" I do have the bluetooth turned on. and every time a small screen pops up saying "Couldn't connect" It suggests: "Turn on Bluetooth" (there is NO place to turn it on)?? it also says: "If this device supports Bluetooth, but you can't turn it on, try to update your driver through windows update in settings".
Well, I tried that too. It did nothing. 😞
You asked if it has bluetooth? It appears to, but like I mentioned above, that's what happens. I'm not all that computer "smart", as you can tell. lol. If I'm given detailed instructions, I can navigate pretty well.
So, I think I have the number you are asking for? The Product Number is: B5Z48UA#ABA
Thanks again!!

Hi,
No, your machine does NOT have built-in Bluetooth. It ONLY has 802.11b/g/n WLAN which is an Atheros AR9485 802.11b/g/n 1x1 WiFi adapter

If you realy need Bluetooth, please try

There are many brands and models around, cheaper too.

Hi,
Okay, thanks and I hope I'm not being a pest, but I have one more question (hopefully) lol. So, with this adapter, do I have to download any special software? or drivers? And you said there are others available at cheaper prices, how do I know what "model" to get that's compatible with what I need? (sorry, that was two questions).
Thanks again!!
