My bluetooth earphones (QCY T5) don't play sound when connected to my HP Envy X360 in Windows 11. Although the bluetooth & devices settings page show them to be paired and the earphones have been selected as the output device in the sound settings, no sound is actually played through them. Meanwhile, wired earphones play sound perfectly through the notebook, and these bluetooth earphones work just fine with my phone.
Windows Troubleshooting Audio doesn't pick up on the issue and neither does the HP Support Assistant Audio Check. The drivers are all up to date, so I'm unsure as to what else I could do to fix this. Any help would be appreciated!

Please Select it (green circle) then click the arrow (red circle) to test it to see how it goes
You may need a proper driver for it.
Regards.

This is what shows up when I click "Test" - the Volume bar shows that sound should be playing, but no sound is actually projected through the earpiece.
How do I tell if I need a proper driver for it, and where can I get that driver from?

I can see the red text on image, too small and too blur when blow up.

"Paired" status in the bluetooth settings doesn't mean "Connected." You will need to click "Connect" to make the connection. If you click "Connect" but the device doesn't connect after waiting a minute, you have a bluetooth driver issue.
