My bluetooth keeps disappearing. Microsoft has fixed it once, however most recently was unable to repair it. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi @mendybee
Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.
I understand how concerning it can be when Bluetooth repeatedly disappears on your HP Pavilion x360 15-er1000, especially after it was previously repaired and has returned.
Let's work through a few troubleshooting steps that often help restore Bluetooth functionality in Windows 11.
Perform a complete power reset:
- Shut down the notebook.
- Disconnect the AC adapter and any external devices.
- Press and hold the Power button for 15 seconds.
- Reconnect power and start the PC.
Run HP Hardware Diagnostics:
- Turn off the PC.
- Power it on and repeatedly tap F2.
- Run the Wireless Module or Component Tests if available.
- Note any failure IDs displayed.
Reinstall the Bluetooth driver:
- Open Device Manager.
- Expand Bluetooth and Network adapters.
- If the Bluetooth device appears, right-click it and select Uninstall device.
- Restart the PC.
- Download and install the latest Bluetooth driver for your model from HP Support, then restart again.
Check Windows Optional Updates:
- Open Settings > Windows Update > Advanced options > Optional updates.
- Install any available Bluetooth, wireless, or chipset updates.
- Restart the system.
Update the BIOS and chipset drivers from HP:
- Install the latest BIOS version available for the HP Pavilion x360 15-er1000.
- Install the latest chipset driver package from HP Support.
- Restart the notebook after each update.
Verify Bluetooth Support Service:
- Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
- Locate Bluetooth Support Service.
- Ensure it is running and set to Automatic.
If Bluetooth continues to disappear entirely from Device Manager even after these steps, the HP Hardware Diagnostics wireless test results can help determine whether the issue is related to the wireless adapter itself or the software environment.
Thank you for reaching out to HP Community. I hope these steps help restore stable Bluetooth connectivity on your notebook.
Take care, and have an amazing day!
