Bluetooth not working, HP Elitebook 2570p Win7 64bit

Bluetooth ear buds don't work with this computer, but they work fine on iPhone and Android phone.  Notebooks says I am using the up-to-date drivers for bluetooth adapter.  Any suggestions?

Hi:

Is the Bluetooth adapter device in the device manager labeled as a generic Bluetooth adapter, or is it a specific model Bluetooth adapter, such as Intel or Broadcom?

If it is labeled as a generic Bluetooth adapter you need to install the applicable model Bluetooth driver for it.

The Bluetooth adapter is Broadcom 70702.  It’s 4.0

OK, so you have the correct BT driver installed.

The only suggestion I can offer would be to see if installing an updated Broadcom BT driver works for you.

Your notebook's support page goes up to revision Q, but there is a newer Revision T available.

Thanks for the link to the bluetooth driver and software, but how do I know that it is the right one for Windows 7pro 64bit?    Hmmm

I loaded the software and still the bluetooth ties to connect,  but fails.  Any other suggestions?
