Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The bottom metal panel doesn't line up. This is exposing sharp edges on both sides. The laptop has never been damaged or opened. The bottom right speaker also doesn't work unless the laptop is squeezed around the speaker. Is this damage covered by HP warranty? Will they try to accuse me of damaging the laptop?  Asking because I need this laptop back quickly as I use it for school and have no alternatives. I received the machine a few months back haven't had time to contact support.

Welcome to HP support community.

 

I request you to talk to HP support.

They might have multiple options to help you with this.

  1. Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
  2. Select the country.
  3. Enter the serial of your device.
  4. Select the country from the drop-down.
  5. Click on "Show Options".
  6. Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
