What's going on everyone!
Hopefully I can get some answers here. I've always wanted to know if my laptop has a built in microphone. To be more specific my laptop is 14-ba253cl. What I know is I have a "Microphone Array- Realtek (R)" and Stereo Mix.
To also update to this: I just had a recent video call on my laptop but I was using a Beats earphone to talk with. For some reason, I was not able to talk with my Beats earphone but it was used as a mic when I took it off and put it aside. I played around with the settings but the website I was using asked me if I wanted to allow mic. I said Yes, and it worked. But for apps like Zoom or any social media site I want to video call, am I able to use it without having my Beats earphone as a mic?

Its specs
https://support.hp.com/rs-en/document/c06177268
It has a builtin microphones (2 units) on the top - above the screen - of the machine. It uses Realtek software and B&O PLAY, dual speakers, HP Audio Boost.
I believe Apple bought Beats 3 or 4 years back therefore HP machines won't support Beats (except for some older models).
Hope this makes sense.
Note: Unless Beats put something on their products otherwise they should work.
Regards.

Hi BH,
I bought recently a Powerbeats Pro, and it does work with HP. But sometimes it does and doesn't work. What I can't figure out is, when I'm in a Zoom call my input can't be heard by other people. This is why I'm asking can I talk on my laptop? It can't pick up my voice when I'm talking.
