Hello, please help.
I need to learn how to record an interview, edit it etc. Where do I find the microphone on my laptop and how to turn it on and use it? T.I.A. (thanking you in anticipation).

Firstly we need to know what is your machine. Please use the following instructions to find out the model/product of your machine:

Normally you can record sound with your laptop but to edit sound you need software which can be free or you have to pay for it.

As mentioned before, you NEED a sound editor to be able edit sound, you can try the following free software
http://www.techradar.com/news/the-best-free-audio-editor
Note: I have not tested them. I use Nero sound editor (payable version).
