HI @DHARAM3,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you've accidentally uninstalled the Bang & Olufsen (B&O) audio software on your HP device, you can reinstall it by following these steps:

1. Download the Audio Driver from HP Support

Go to the HP Support Website:

  • Open your web browser and navigate to the HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads.

Enter Your Device Model:

  • Enter your HP device's model number in the search box. If you are unsure of the model number, you can use the HP Support Assistant to detect it automatically.

Select Your Operating System:

  • Choose your operating system from the list provided.

Locate the Audio Driver:

  • Scroll down to the "Driver-Audio" section. Look for the Realtek High Definition (HD) Audio Driver or a similar driver that mentions B&O or Bang & Olufsen.

Download and Install:

  • Download the driver and follow the on-screen instructions to install it. This should also reinstall the B&O audio software.

2. Use HP Recovery Manager (if available)

Open HP Recovery Manager:

  • Search for "HP Recovery Manager" in the Windows search bar and open it.

Reinstall Drivers and Applications:

  • Select "Reinstall drivers and/or applications".

Select the Audio Driver:

  • Find the audio driver in the list (it should mention Realtek or Bang & Olufsen). Follow the prompts to reinstall it.

3. Windows Update

Sometimes Windows Update can detect and reinstall the necessary drivers and software.

Open Windows Settings:

  • Press Windows Key + I to open the Settings app.

Navigate to Update & Security:

  • Go to "Update & Security" and then select "Windows Update".

Check for Updates:

  • Click "Check for updates" and allow Windows to download and install any available updates. This might include the audio driver.

4. HP Support Assistant

Open HP Support Assistant:

  • If you have the HP Support Assistant installed, open it from the Windows search bar.

Check for Updates:

  • Use HP Support Assistant to check for updates and install any available audio drivers.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
