If it is possible to connect to the amplifier from a USB port, is any one USB port better than an other?

Are connectors that have USB at one end and right/left connectors at the other end (as required by my amplifier)?

My amplifier does have an unused port that is labeled "DC 5V".  Might this port be useful?

Hi,

You are going to need an adapter/converter from USB to RCA which can convert the digital signal. Basically a USB audio card. There are all kinds of quality and price.

Example:

Hope it helps,

David
