Can't detect Microphone Array (Realtek) on Windows 11 - Laptop 14-ce3501na

Laptop (now out of warranty) purchased with Windows 10.

Microphone working OK as "Microphone Array (Realtek)".

Upgraded to Windows 11 - still all OK

In March I started getting screen display problems and was advised to make an Image of the installation, wipe the laptop completely, reinstall W10, run for a while and then uipgrade to W11. I did this mid May 2022 - Laptop now running OK again

HOWEVER - I wanted to use Skype this am and found that I could not find the Realtek Microphone array. (Playback is OK as I have external speakers, but there is no Realtek internal speakers option available)

HELP - how do I reinstall the Realtek Microphone array and other functions?

- Device Manager does not recognise the Realtek installation

- Running Troubleshooters in both Windows and HP Support Asst shows that all is OK, and assumes an external mic (which I don't have!)

Thanks in advance

Hi:

The only suggestion I can offer would be to try the latest W10 Realtek audio driver from your notebook's support page on W11.

Thanks @Paul_Tikkanen : That worked and I now have a microphone on the laptop again!  It makes Skype and Zoom so much easier!!!!
