Hi @AblazeVictor,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand your audio has stopped working on your HP Notebook 15s-du1012tu, and you cannot find the Intel HD audio driver. You can follow these steps to resolve the issue:

Update Audio Drivers via Device Manager:

  • Press Win + X and select "Device Manager" from the list.
  • In the Device Manager, expand the "Sound, video and game controllers" section.
  • Right-click on the "Intel HD Audio" driver (or similar) and select "Update driver."
  • Choose "Search automatically for updated driver software" and allow Windows to find and install the latest driver.

Download and Install the Driver from HP's Official Site:

  • Visit the Official HP® Support.
  • Enter your product name (HP Notebook 15s-du1012tu) and search for available drivers.
  • Ensure you select the correct operating system and look for the latest audio driver listed.
  • Download and install the driver, then restart your notebook.

Run Windows Troubleshooter:

  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.
  • Select "Playing Audio" and click "Run the troubleshooter."
  • Follow the instructions provided to detect and fix any audio-related issues.

Check if Windows Update is Causing the Issue:

  • Sometimes, a recent Windows update might cause issues with the audio driver.
  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
  • Check for any pending updates that may need to be installed or consider uninstalling a recent update if needed.

    I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
