First of all, i bought this new laptop in less than a month, the sound from the built in speaker suddenly became flat and soft. Found out it was due to device failure from Cirrus Logic Awesome in device manager.

 

Complaint made to HP to get 1 to 1 replacement, but got denied, due to exceeding 2 weeks from purchase date (my purchase is less than a month). Then we proceeded for on-site service which did not solve anything at all. Technician came and refresh all the drivers and replace the speakers, yet the solution is not any better.

 

THEN, i received email that the case has been closed (Case No: [Personal Information Removed]) after the technician left. I have been contacting the appointed agent but there is no proper reply to this.

 

This is getting more and more frustrating. It's my first personal laptop from HP and it was disaster.

 

If you can't solve the manufacturing issue, might as well replace or refund to your customers who paid fully, not by giving stress or frustrations.

Hi Gaya, thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately the hotline you provided in the dm is not working. I kept calling today and it's turn down immediately.

 

I tried HP Support - No functioning supports
Tried calling the hotline - Can't even reach anyone.

 

I am at the end of this. This is a high end PC and it is the latest model in the market, yet i am facing software/hardware and also not functioning support. Maybe HP is not well established in my country.

I too am having issue with the Cirrus amp... Only I have ZERO sound! I'm on a HP Envy x360, that is only 2 DAYS old! After much frustration, I DO see where the driver was updated today, yet in device manager the ROLL BACK driver option is not available. And there are MANY others on this site having issues with it as well, so...

Technicians came to my place to replace the motherboard and the speakers, yet the problem still sitting there. It’s so frustrating! Wouldn’t getting a new one replaced is better? I’ve made a very expensive purchase and it’s giving only anger and disappointment. Poor HP. Never again.
