Constant clicking noise when audio playing

HP Pavilion x360 Convertible
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Constant clicking noise whenever anything with Audio played.  i.e. Youtube, music;  with and without earphones.  I have downloaded all of the diagnostic checks that I can and still unable to resolve the issue.  After waiting for 6 weeks to actually receive my item I am keen to get the matter resolved.    I am not computer literate so find this all very frustrating, so hope someone here can help.  Many Thanks

Hi! @mds1203

Were there any recent windows update on the PC?

Have you tried checking with a different browser? Does the issue persist?

Try updating windows to the latest version and check if the issue persists.

You can update the drivers on the PC using HP support assistant.

Also, Please try the steps recommended below.

Hi! @mds1203,

Thanks for writing back to us and thanks for sharing the failure ID.

I tried to decode the failure ID and it failed with an error Audio Channel Failure.

So it certainly sounds like a hardware issue with the PC. Please contact HP support for service options.
