Hi, I've had this problem for a long time and I really want to fix it because it bugs me like crazy and I want to know if theres a way to fix it.
So, basically when I try playing a game on Roblox that has some high bass sounds the audio starts crackling which was annoying because I couldn't enjoy gameplay while having sound. I have tried updating the audio driver, deleting it, and trouble shooting, but troubleshooting said my audio was fine though it still started crackling when I played Roblox. This doesn't happen if I use a headphone or a earbud and I know that I could just use a headphone or a ear bud, but this still does bug me out. Also, I would like to point out that the audio works perfectly fine on Linux(Manjaro, EndeavourOS, Ubuntu) and when I play Roblox on Linux the audio doesn't break.
By the way, the audio seems to work fine after muting it for a couple minutes or restarting the system or sleeping it for a couple minutes.
Sorry, if I explained this badly I'm not good at explaining.

Hi @Daconday,
Welcome to the HP Support Community
I understand you are facing an audio-related issue with your HP product. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.
To assist better:
- Was there any recent update on the PC?
While you respond to that please try the below steps:
Update the BIOS, & Audio drivers:
- Here's the link to download and install the above updates: Click here
While you respond to that, here's what you need to do:
Step 1: Right-click on the Start button in the taskbar area and then click Device Manager to open the same.
Step 2: In the Device Manager, expand Sound, video, and game controllers.
Step 3: You should now see your audio driver's name. Most likely you have Realtek High Definition Audio, Right-click on it and then click Uninstall device option.
Step 4: You will now get the following confirmation dialog. Select Delete the driver software for this device checkbox and then the Yes button when you see the confirmation dialog to go ahead and uninstall the device driver.
Restart your PC once & it should auto-reinstall a working driver.
If the issue with the sound continues, The best way to resolve the issue is by using the HP Support Assistant:
