Hi,

I am experiencing issues with latest audio drivers. When playing any audio i am experiencing crackling sound, both on my speakers and headphones.

This is my second post, using new drivers, which introduced already mentioned issue.

@Renato27

That probably due to Windows updates. Re-install driver should help. Please try

(a) Download the following driver and save on your computer,

    https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp92501-93000/sp92797.exe

(b) Go to Device Manager, Sound to uninstall sound driver and reboot,
(c) Right click downloaded file and select Run as administrator,
(d) Reboot again.

Regards.

Thank you for the fast reply.

I followed your steps, however the problem still persists.

I also tried reverting to the older version of the driver without any improvments.

What Should I try next?

After running System Diagnostic I have noticed that the issue is not present outside of Windows

{To clarify the sound coming out of the speakers during test (Audio component test) is in line with what it should be, without any obvious crackling noise}

Hope that helps

So far I still haven't been able to resolve the problem. I am hoping someone might offer some useful advice
