Hi,
I have a HP-Pavilion m7-1015dx. It's 5 yrs old. My speakers were working just fine when suddenly I saw that the beats audio left speaker suddenly started crackling. I then checked and I found out that when I increased the bass in the beats audio control panel, the crackling increased. I tried troubleshooting and disabling and enabling the audio driver but nothing happened. What should I do?
P.S. The right speaker is working just fine.

Hello @Anubhab_Khanra,
Thank you for your reply !!
@Anubhab_Khanra wrote:No,reinstalling the driver did'nt fix the problem. Could it be a hardware malfunction?
I forgot to mention that my speakers became very hot before the crackling started.
Yes !! It seems like the Hardware issue.

Hello @Anubhab_Khanra,
Download the IDT Audio installer on the link below and save it to your Downloads folder.
sp57966.exe
When done, hold down the Windows key and press R
Into the Run window, type devmgmt.msc and hit enter.
In Device Manager, expand Sound, Video and Game Controllers. Right click the IDT device and select Uninstall - you should also get a prompt to remove the current driver, tick the box to allow this and then proceed with the uninstall and restart.
When windows has reloaded, open your Downloads folder, right click on the IDT installer and select 'Run as Administrator' to start the installation. When this has completed, restart the notebook and let windows fully load.
