HP Notebook - 15t-dw100 CTO

Hi! I had to do a clean install of Windows 11 on my laptop, and I lost HP Audio Center. I would like to get it back. Is it included in the Realtek drivers available on the HP support site? My device manager shows I am currently using a version of the driver installed by Windows (Version 10.02262.1). Can/should I switch to the HP drivers instead? How do I know if I should download Comet Lake or Gemini Lake? Thank you in advance for your help/suggestions!

Hi:

Yes, if you install the HP Realtek audio driver, it should also install the HP Audio Center, or it will soon be installed automatically via the Microsoft Store thereafter.

If your notebook has an Intel core processor, you should install the audio driver for the Comet Lake processors.

If your notebook has an Intel Pentium or Celeron processor, you should install the audio driver for the Gemini Lake processors.

Do I need to delete the current Windows driver prior to installation?

You don't have to uninstall the driver that Windows installed.
