I was wondering if there is a Dolby Audio Driver for my laptop that may help boost audio quality, volume and surround sound effect. I know they make on for Lenovo/IBM laptops. Did HP work with them to create drivers that include Dolby Audio for HP laptops/PCs?

@Olaorun67, welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.
Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out.
I understand that you wanted to know if there is a separate Dolby Audio Driver for your HP Pavilion 17-e118dx.
There is no separate Dolby Audio Driver for this unit. The drivers are same that come with the software CD.
For the Dolby Sound, there should be a Dolby logo on the PC.

I hope you have a good day ahead.

In order for you to have Dolby Audio you do not have to have the "Dolby logo on the PC". Dolby makes drivers that give the enhanced sound without having Dolby Pre-installed or have the logo which is the point. Many of Lenovo's laptop/PCs do not but they have a driver you can install that has Dolby built into it. I know HP does or should as well.
Thanks,
