You can first download and install the latest audio driver for your specific HP model from the HP support website.

Then open Device Manager, expand "Sound, video and game controllers", and uninstall all remaining audio-related devices listed there. After that, install the downloaded audio driver, restart the computer, and check whether the audio function works normally again.
