Hp pavilion dv7 4024so
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So i have a Hp pavilion dv7 entertainment laptop computer. Model number 4024so with beats audio n such, now its a really old laptop by now (about 8 years) but i got it from a friend who didnt need it anymore as he found it from his closet after a long time of not using it. He did say that before he stopped using it there was a audio issue but didnt effect him much as he used headphones all the time. But the audio bug didnt show up until about 4-5 years of ownership later atleast thats what my friend remembers then he gave it to me on one condition that was that i wiped it clean of all his data and so i did. and reinstalled win 7 home prem and noticed that In the BIOS the speakers  do work if i press some keys beeps come from both and the sub works too cause sometimes when shutting it down in the bios via power button it makes a thump type of sound. But in windows it thinks there are headphones plugged in the computer when there is none plugged in. I have checked the port its clean and i have tried several windows versions (7,8,8,1 and 10) and installed and reinstalled drivers several times in each os but no audio at all. but when i plug in my own earbuds i hear the audio loud and clear from the headphones but no sound from speakers. As some pepole have had some luck with that. Is there any fixes to my problem that i can do myself. As this is a great laptop but i would like its sound to work.

Btw im now using windows 10 64bit on the laptop

As you can see, no Windows 10, 8/8.1 for machine

Please download and install the following IDT High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver for Windows 10 on older machines:

No the drivers you linked dont work with my device and the windows 7 drivers work in 8,8.1 and 10 i can use beats audio software n such but the device thinks it has a 3.5mm audio device plugged in when there is none plugged in. The port is clean and it works when plugging in a pair of headphones  i get audio but the laptop internal speakers just dont work in windows not even 7 with the proper drivers but in bios i still get the beeps from the laptop internal speakers.
