My HP Notebook 15- da0299tu laptop when i plug in my earphone the earphone microphone is not working , i can hear only the sound but my microphone is not working at all. I have attached the images that my audio drivers are installed still its not working

I see that you're facing microphone related issue on your system. Do not worry, we are here to you to help you fix the issue.

 

May I know from when are you facing this issue?

May I know if you have made any recent hardware or software related changes to your system?

May I know if it only happens when you plug in the headphones to your system?

 

I would suggest you try to use your system without the headphones and let me know if the issue persists?

 

If the issue doesn't persist after removing the headphones it is the issue with the headphones and not the system microphone.

From the past 3-4 weeks i am facing this problem before that when i plugged in my earphone in the laptop the microphone was working fine.

No i don't made any changes.

Yes when i plug in the earphone the earphone mic doesn't work but when i remove the earphone the system mic works perfectly.

 

No there is no problem with the earphone mic as i have already check with my mobile I think there is some fault in my laptop hardware.

 

Please help what can be done

From what I have understood, the microphone of your system works fine. 

 

Could you please try to use alternate headphones on your system and let me know the outcome of it?

yes i have checked with alternate earphones the microphone doesn't work when its plugged in.

Please connect your headphones to your system and follow the troubleshooting steps from the Microsoft support page: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/fix-microphone-problems-5f230348-106d-bfa4-1db5-336f3557...

please tell me what earphone microphone (full product name and product number) you are using ?

How (cable type) and where do you connect it ?
