Thank you for reaching out and providing detailed information about the issue. We understand how frustrating this can be.

 

Since the problem started after updating to Windows 11 version 24H2 and the latest drivers, we recommend trying the following steps:

  1. Rollback Bluetooth and Audio Drivers:

    • Open Device Manager (Win + X > Device Manager).
    • Locate Bluetooth and Sound, Video and Game Controllers sections.
    • Right-click the Bluetooth and audio drivers, select Properties > Driver tab, and click Roll Back Driver (if available).
  2. Uninstall and Reinstall Bluetooth & Audio Drivers:

    • If rollback isn’t available, uninstall the drivers from Device Manager.
    • Restart your laptop and let Windows reinstall them automatically.
    • Alternatively, download and install drivers from the HP support website instead of Windows Update.
  3. Run Windows Troubleshooters:

    • Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters.
    • Run the Bluetooth and Audio troubleshooters.
  4. Check for Additional Windows or BIOS Updates:

    • Ensure your system firmware (BIOS) is up to date. You can find updates on HP’s official support page.
  5. Try a Different Bluetooth Device:

    • If possible, test another Bluetooth headset to see if the issue persists.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, you may need to report this directly to HP support or Microsoft for further investigation. Let us know if you need additional assistance.
