Hi i have had this laptop for about 8 months now and when using volume and mute buttons on laptop all that came up was the volume level. Now about a week ago an extra bit has come up beside it with forward, rewind and pause on it. Does anyone know how to get rid of it as it causes problems with my bluetooth speaker and also i don't need it. Here is a picture of it. I just need to get rid of the big black box on the right.Sound 1.jpg

Hi,

It is a Chrome thing (when on YouTube) which intercepts the media keys and shows that box for further control.

You can turn it off. Here is how.

Open Chrome

Type  chrome://flags  in search bar

Find Hardware Media Key Handling and disable

Relaunch Chrome

Hope it helps,
