Extreme low volume on hp envy x360 Bang and Olufsen

I bought a new hp envy x360 and after the windows update, the volume was extremely low, tried reinstalling the drivers, even tried to reset the pc 2 times, every time I reset the volume is fine, as soon as it updates, the volume was so low, I could hardly hear it in a quiet room.

After researching for a few days, found the below app that really works, just install and select the speakers, no other configuration needed, I don't know how or why this works, it just does.

while downloading I had to tell the browser to keep the file, my browser told me it is unsafe, but no spyware or malware were found by antivirus, it's just a tiny little utility.

i selected the 2 options marked in red below.

I hope this solves your audio issues too, I wrote this post as this issue really frustrated me as I reset my pc, being a developer, trust me the amount of software I had to reinstall was a headache.
